When you have a flight scheduled, we will meet at the Hilo International Airport General Aviation Area, which is across the airport from the airline terminals. 

There are two ways to get there:

If you’re coming from the South (Highway 11) on Kanoelehua Avenue, turn right on to Hualani St (Pono’s Used Cars is on the corner) and follow the road in (the name of the road changes to Old General Lyman but there are no signs indicating that) until you see the parking lots just past the old control tower building/Air Service Hawaii. Park at the far end by Gate 28.

If you’re coming from the North (Highway 19), when you get to the intersection with Kanoelehua Ave (Ken’s House of Pancakes is on the corner) continue straight across the intersection and take the next right just past the intersection. In the roundabout, take the first right and follow the airport perimeter fence (Railroad Ave on the map but there are no signs saying that). You’ll see the small General Aviation aircraft parked near the fence, pull into the parking lot there and park close to Gate 28 at the corner of the fence.
